School Assignment

Your school is assigned at the District Admissions Office, according to the location of your residence and the school attendance boundaries. Use our School Locator to determine the school assigned to a specific address.

School of Choice

The Cherry Creek School District allows its resident students to apply for enrollment in the Cherry Creek Schools/programs of their choice. In other words, you may request that your children attend a Cherry Creek school outside your assigned attendance area. Requests are approved based on available space, and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the family choosing this option. Applications will be available from November 16, 2009 through February 1, 2010 for the following school year. Call the District Admissions Office at 720-554-4550 for more information.

Early Registration for Kindergartners

We encourage parents to pre-register their kindergartners for the coming school year during our Kindergarten Roundup. This helps us plan our school staff needs and provides parents with the needed information to help prepare for that important first year of school. Kindergarten Roundup is usually held for several weeks during February and March, specific information about Kindergarten Roundup will be available in February each year. Call Admissions at 720-554-4550 for details.

Non-Resident Applications

Cherry Creek School District accepts non-residents on a space available basis according to the guidelines stated in district policy. Transportation is the responsibility of the family choosing to apply to Cherry Creek Schools. Applications are available after April 1st and must be submitted by August 1st each year. Approval of non-residents is for one year, and must be renewed annually.

Colorado Home School

It is the primary right and obligation of the parent/guardian to choose the proper education and training for children under his/her care and supervision. It is recognized that homebased education is a legitimate alternative. For more information, visit the Home-based Educational Programs for Children web page.
