Online Learning

The Cherry Creek School District is excited to offer online classes that offer students the flexibility to learn any time of the day from any place. These interactive, standards-based classes will provide rigorous class work while meeting graduation requirements for students in CCSD.

Is online learning for me?

The online student must take responsibility for his or her own learning. In any online education program, the student must be a self-directed learner, have internal motivation to manage his or her own learning during the course of study, and have a basic grasp of Internet navigation skills.

What classes are available?

How are the classes structured?

The classes follow the traditional school calendar and are all graded on a semester basis. Assignments are due at specified weekly intervals, however students can complete their work at anytime during the week, as long as work is posted by specified due dates.

How long will I have to spend each day in my online class?

Although time spent may vary each day, you should expect to spend at least 5-8 hours per week on your class work.

How will I access my online class?

You can access your online class from any computer that has Internet, either at school or home. An email address will be provided for you to use for class.

Is there a fee for taking an online class?

There is no cost for online classes. Students will be responsible for paying tuition for university credit.
