English Language Acquisition (ELA) Program

English Language Acquisition (ELA) is designed to teach students who speak languages other than English how to understand, speak, read, and write in English.

While students are learning English, they are also learning math, science, social studies and other subjects in the school curriculum. Teachers in ELA are proficient in the English language and specifically trained to teach students who are learning English.
